In Store Logistics

What we do

HAVI Logistics is committed to helping our customers focus on their core business - selling great quality food.  This means stores need to be relieved as much as possible of non-core logistical tasks.

It all starts with the delivery.  HAVI Logistics can perform two different types of in store deliveries.  The first concept is called "Unassisted Delivery" includes that the driver opens up the restaurant, does a quantity check for the products, puts the frozen and chilled goods into the respective warehouses, and finally locks the restaurant again.

The second type is called "Invisible Delivery."  This means that the restaurant is totally free of any tasks that have to do with the delivery process. The distributor handles the entire physical delivery process including shelving (full put-away). In addition to the benefits of "Unassisted Delivery", the restaurant crew is relieved of tasks related to shelving and stock rotation.  But service does not stop there…

1. In Store organization:

  • Fixed and labeled rack location
  • Optimization of storage usage
  • Storage design to promote physical handling efficiencies and comply with safety standards)

 2. Master data:

  • Up-to-date master data (bill of materials, material items and sales-articles)
  • Inventory count list reflects the proper sequence of the stock count.

3. Stock management:

  • Optimized method of stock taking
  • Optimized inventory management process
  • Optimized count results

4. Delivery:

  • Products placed on shelves correctly
  • Right delivery frequency and days

5. Ordering:

  • Minimized time spent on ordering
  • Minimized rate of order modification
  • Minimized store transfers and waste

After successful implementation, your store management and the crew will be able to focus solely on operational excellence, sales building activities and, last but not least, on customer satisfaction. But also on the distributor side, In Store Delivery Management will lead to benefits like fewer order modifications and optimized delivery frequencies.
