
In the storage areas of HAVI Logistics distribution centers, food safety is always the ultimate goal. With nearly 30 years of Asia experience, HAVI Logistics has developed the most sophisticated storage facilities in the region. Each of Distribution Centers is tailor-made and divided into three or five temperature zones:
Each temperature zone is closely monitored on a 24 hour basis. Electronic alarms are also installed to warn of any dangerous changes in temperature. In addition, all distribution centers have emergency power back-ups in case power failures.
Directly upon arrival at the Distribution Center, goods are checked closely according to our strict QIP, "Quality Inspection Program", which defines specific quality criteria for each product. QIP is a supplement of the extended "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points"- concept, HACCP for short. Both concepts together - in combination with all of our customized systems developed for our customers - guarantee the highest possible food safety throughout the entire period products are stored in our Distribution Center.
