On May 12th, 2008 the province of Sichuan (in western China), experienced one of the largest earthquakes in its history. Over 69,000 Chinese people lost their lives and left nearly 5 million people homeless.
HAVI Logistics Asia began raising funds to donate to earthquake relief and has raised nearly $100,000 USD to date for the Sichuan School Reconstruction Project. In addition to the fund-raising activities HAVI Logistics employees also participated in a blood drive and donated tents to our HAVI Logistics staff and families located in Chengdu.
